Flag outdated steps and clarify content with comments

What’s new?

Outdated or unclear instructions can lead to costly mistakes — especially when they’re not caught for weeks (or ever). Now, anyone can leave a comment to flag issues or suggest updates, keeping guides accurate and easy to follow. Editors can quickly make changes and resolve the comment, and updates are reflected instantly wherever the guide is shared or embedded. It’s the simplest way for team members to ask questions or request changes on a guide, helping you ensure that work gets done right.

How does it work?

Pro Team and Enterprise customers can review, resolve, and manage comments from one streamlined view. Viewers can leave feedback on individual steps or the entire Scribe, and all feedback stays organized and actionable. Need to loop in a colleague? Just @mention their name or email.

FAQ

Q. Who can see my comments?

A. If comments are enabled for a Scribe, then anyone who is signed into a Scribe account can leave or view comments, and document owners or editors can view and resolve comments.

Q. Can I turn off comments?

A. Admins can turn off comments for all Scribes on their org by default. However, comments can still be enabled at the Scribe level by the editor or owner of that Scribe.

Q. Will my past comments and reactions still be available?

A. All users can still view old comments. To resolve or add more comments, you’ll need to be a Pro Team or Enterprise customer. Reactions have been deprecated to focus on giving editors more actionable feedback.
