All Plans Capturing

Keep your guides mistake-free by deleting accidental steps during capture

What’s new?

Small mistakes during capture — like accidental clicks or irrelevant actions — can clutter your Scribes, making them harder to follow and adding extra cleanup work later. Now, you can delete individual steps on the fly while you’re still capturing, keeping your guide accurate from the very beginning.

How does it work?

While capturing a Scribe, you’ll now see a quick-delete option next to each step in Sidekick (the extension side panel). Click the trash icon to remove any step instantly, before it becomes part of your final guide, and get back to capturing your workflow. This saves you from extra cleanup later and ensures your Scribes only include the steps that matter.

FAQs

Q. Can I undo a deleted step during capture?

A. Not at the moment. Once deleted, a step can’t be restored. We recommend only removing steps you’re certain you don’t need.

Q. Is this available on desktop too?

A. This functionality is currently only available on the browser extension.
