What’s new?

Adding meaningful alt text is a key step in making Scribe more accessible for everyone — but our old one-line textbox made writing longer descriptions harder than it should be. Now, the alt text field automatically expands as you type, making it simple to write clear, complete descriptions that help everyone understand your content.

How does it work?

A larger, auto-expanding textbox means you can see your full description without scrolling or working in a cramped space. You can add alt text to any screenshot in your Scribe by selecting the “Alt” icon in the top right corner of the image. This makes your guide accessible to those using screen readers and ensures your visual content can be understood by everyone.
