Share documentation in Word with DOCX export

Deliver critical answers to anyone, anywhere, in the format your organization needs—now with Word/DOCX export. For teams that work in Microsoft Word, Scribe makes it easy to export guides securely and share them in the format your team depends on.

How does it work?

From the Export tab in the share modal, select Microsoft Word to download your Scribe as a DOCX file with all text and images embedded. The DOCX format is secure because image files are stored directly in the document. Exporting is available to Pro and Enterprise customers. Check out this Scribe to learn more.

Heads up: Changes made to the original Scribe will not automatically update in the DOCX version, so you’ll need to re-export if you make edits. For the most up-to-date experience, we recommend sharing your Scribe in a live format — such as embedding, sharing via link, or sending by email — so updates automatically appear everywhere it’s shared.
